Post-It Rants

Well, here's a couple rants.

Ya know, I've never understood why people hated comic sans so much.
Not that I love it by any means, but I've heard the complaint over and over.

It's ugly, it's not even a real comic font, and when people use it as such it irks me. It's a poor ugly, unappealing typeface that FAR too many people use, not only too often, (cause it looks "fun!!!") but as a display font, for the names of businesses even. Even the font wasn't made for that!
Ugh, it's just so BAD.
I know, I'm a type nerd, but I can't stop cringing whenever I see it, which is FAR TOO MUCH.

This is why you rule.

Haha, I punched a classmate for using comic sans. It's quite possibly the most unprofessional font someone can choose.

Your rants amuse me greatly. I believe I have heard both of these in person, but they are cute on paper too!

I sadly have used Comic Sans or once did years ago. And I have also heard that it is the bastard child of the print world.

Also with the popularity of the iPhone, I have gotten extremely broken, poorly typed emails from iPhone users too lazy to type or wait to get to a proper keyboard and computer at home.

Yeah. It's not so much about reading getting more difficult as it is, people getting lazier to type.
I'm no fan of lazy typeing, but damn, when your driving around downtown, listening to your ipod, while drinking a coffee and texting on your phone...it sure comes in handy.

"I'm no fan of lazy typeing"

If anything the extra "e" shows too much effort, rather than too little.
